This particular 2015 S58, listed exclusively by Custom Yacht Sales Ltd. has been comprehensively upgraded far beyond the already impressive Maritimo factory specification. The current owners have invested heavily in electronics (Including the Starlink Maritime High Performance package), comfort systems, power management, and exterior equipment, resulting in a vessel that is exceptionally well-equipped for immediate cruising. Whether the goal is extended Pacific Northwest cruising, a voyage down the coast, or extended liveaboard comfort, this S58 is ready.

The west coast upgrade highlights include a 630 Ah Lithium-Ion house battery bank, a Freedom Lift tender hoist, upgraded to the new stainless rams and hydraulic lines in 2024 carrying a ZAR ZF1 5-person RIB tender with 50 HP Yamaha four-stroke outboard and Garmin Chart plotter allowing for more adventures on and off the water. An FCI 800 GPD watermaker, Espar Hydronic heating, Upgraded 17″ Garmin Displays in 2019, Twin Stidd helm seats, Miele full-size separate washer and dryer, a Vitrifrigo ice maker, a 35kg ultra anchor for safer nights in private coves and wireless Yacht Controller system giving the captain complete control of both thrusters, windlass, and transmission from anywhere on deck, allowing confident single-handed docking without asking a partner to handle lines. For a vessel of this size, that’s a rare and genuinely liberating capability.

This vessels stands out for its smart and practical design, particularly when it comes to access and serviceability. In the cockpit, two electric hatches provide effortless entry to both the lazarette and the engine room.

The lazarette housing the watermaker and diesel furnace offers generous storage space, making it ideal for gear, spare parts, and extended cruising needs. Meanwhile, the stand-up engine room is a bright and open space, allowing for comfortable movement and excellent visibility around the twin D13 engines and the 21Kw sound shielded and water separator exhausted, Onan generator. This layout makes routine checks and maintenance far more convenient, a major advantage for owners who value daily ease of access and functionality.

Accommodations

Step aboard from the dock onto a generous swim platform and through one of two transom gates into the expansive cockpit, a natural gathering place, complete with a built-in sink and large cooler/freezer box in the transom. Storage lockers run port and starboard along the gunwales, and two large electric-lift hatches in the cockpit floor give effortless access to the lazarette and engine room below.

The real showstopper is the Maritimo trifold aft door. Open it fully and the cockpit and galley become one continuous entertaining space, the outside flows in and the inside flows out. It changes the entire character of the boat on a warm day.

The “L”-shaped galley with large island is a genuine cook’s space. Top quality appliances throughout, a full-size refrigerator/freezer, incredible articulated full-height pantry, dishwasher, microwave, and a large stainless sink. A central island adds prep space and storage, while to the port a Fisher & Paykel drawer refrigeration/freezer unit configurable as either fridge, freezer or wine cooler, sits alongside the Vitrifrigo ice maker.

Forward into the saloon, the sightlines are unobstructed from bow to stern. Two built-in settees invite easy conversation, and above, a large full-function sunroof opens or cracks to cruise setting depending on the breeze. A concealed TV rises via electric lift when needed, the Bose surround sound system fills the space effortlessly, and built-in shades ensure complete privacy. To starboard, twin Stidd helm chairs sit before a full electronics package and just beside the captain’s position, a dedicated side door opens directly onto the walk-around deck. It sounds like a small thing until you’ve tried to dock without one. Maritimo has since removed this feature from newer models, and owners who’ve used it won’t want to live without it. It is, quite simply, a game changer for anyone who appreciates easy docking and communication onboard.  With the side captains door and the yacht controller, this yacht is a breeze to operate.

Below, three staterooms and two heads. The forward queen stateroom has an island bed, hanging lockers, under-bed storage drawers, and ensuite access to the guest head and shower. To starboard, a comfortable single bunk with drawer storage. And to port/aft, the full-beam master. It’s a genuine wow moment. Step in to find a dedicated upper dressing area with vanity, bureau, and ensuite entrance, then step down into the sleeping area where the king bed is fully accessible from both sides. The owner has replaced the standard settee to starboard with custom built-in storage with a custom daybed top cushion to sit by the three elongated porthole windows and take in the water view and the warm breeze.  With this upgrade, there are four hanging lockers and 18 drawers for clothing and those personal items you would prefer stored in the owner’s cabin.  A practical and well-considered upgrade.  Also in the owners cabin, the king-size bed lifts on two rams to expose a massive storage space for more of the items you would like out of sight, but easily retrievable.

Back on deck, Maritimo’s wide walk-around side decks live up to their reputation, safe, sure-footed, and easy to work whether you’re handling lines or heading forward to drop the hook. Aft, the Freedom Lift deploys the ZAR five-person tender at the push of a button, and a removable stainless handrail on the swim step makes getting on and off effortless.

The Maritimo Story

Since its founding in 2003 under the guidance of industry veteran Bill Barry-Cotter, Maritimo has earned its place among the world’s most respected names in luxury motor yachts. Built entirely by hand at the company’s Gold Coast, Queensland facility, every Maritimo carries the DNA of a brand with an unbroken lineage in offshore powerboat racing the only luxury motor yacht builder in the world to maintain an in-house world-championship race team. That heritage is not merely marketing: it translates directly into hull design, structural integrity, powertrain efficiency, and the kind of deep-water confidence that only comes from building yachts that have been tested at the extreme limits of ocean performance.

Maritimo yachts are engineered for the serious cruising owner, people who go to sea. Every system is designed with long-term ownership in mind: accessible, easily serviced, and built to withstand the demands of real bluewater passages. The result is a vessel that is simultaneously tough and refined, capable and comfortable, and as at home on a long offshore passage as it is alongside the dock at a luxury marina.

About The S58

The Maritimo S58 represents the pinnacle of the S-Series sedan motor yacht lineup, a vessel conceived for owners who demand long-range cruising capability without sacrifice. Her single-level interior design creates a seamless flow between the aft galley, expansive saloon, and cockpit entertainment areas, while the hardtop provides full weather protection without the overhead of a traditional flybridge. Wide, safe walk-around side decks are a hallmark of the S-Series, providing easy access fore and aft for the whole family.

Below deck, three thoughtfully appointed staterooms, including a full-beam king master with ensuite, offer the liveability of a luxury apartment. The S58 is built to cover serious ocean miles: efficient fuel consumption, a proven deep-V hull with excellent rough-water manners, and race-derived hydraulic steering make her equally capable of a tight-scheduled offshore passage or a leisurely coastal cruise. She is, in short, a yacht that rewards ambitious itineraries.

Maritimo S58 to S62 Update

“A note on the model designation: Maritimo revised the name of this model to ‘S62’ partway through the production year for marketing purposes only and to represent the vessels true length. There were no engineering, specification, or structural changes to the vessel as a result of this rebadging.

A hull wearing ’62’ on the side is identical in every meaningful way to its predecessor. With a HIN reflecting the 58 stamping.
