Full Details

The Island Packet family of sailboats have a well-deserved reputation as capable and comfortable bluewater boats. WIND CHASER (IP35, hull 96, 1990) is no exception. WIND CHASER has been meticulously maintained and her condition betrays her years. WIND CHASER is a remarkable example of a well-maintained IP35 and she is particularly well-equipped for adventurous and extended cruising of the Pacific Northwest. WIND CHASER is a recent veteran of cruises to Prince Rupert (2020), a circumnavigation of Vancouver Island (2021) and more recently, Haida Gwaii (2022).

Her 400 watts of solar panels and her wind generator make her fully off-grid capable. The combination of her full cockpit enclosure and her hydronic ESPAR furnace, make her decadently comfortable and warm in any weather. Her powerful bow thruster (Side-Power SP55S) makes her surprisingly manoeuvrable when docking. Her in-boom furler makes reefing a joy. She sleeps 4 comfortably. She has enormous storage capacity, and her freezer/refrigerator is the envy of most boaters.

WIND CHASER is ready to take you where the spirit leads you. This sailboat is ready to sail away immediately. It will be hard to find a better appointed IP35 anywhere. You owe it to yourself to view this unique sailboat. This is a rare opportunity that will not last.

Recent survey and mechanical inspection are available.
