GEORGE BUEHLER'S DIESEL DUCK 382 (41' LOA) 9 is a slightly smaller version of George's popular Diesel Duck 462.

This design is a cooperative effort between George Buehler and Seahorse Marine to create a lower-cost absolutely seaworthy and livable ocean passagemaker.

The aft cabin features a side queen bed with a nicely arranged desk/office/den setup.

The pilothouse includes a settee with a table to port, a helm chair, and a large chart table to starboard.

The forward stateroom has double bunks with ample storage. The sailing rig is balanced for better sailing performance, improved long-range economy, and enhanced stabilization. All sails are easily furled.

With fuel tankage increased to 1,600 gallons (400 more than standard), a fuel burn rate of 1.5 gallons per hour, this strong and elegant vessel is truly trans-oceanic.

The Diesel Duck 382 is a slightly smaller version of George's popular Diesel Duck 462; she is seaworthy, livable and affordable. Some folks call the Diesel Duck 382 a "pocket passagemaker." Well, think "BIG POCKET"!

She measures 41' length overall and 65,000 pounds dry displacement.

The forward stateroom has double bunks with lots of storage, an integral crash bulkhead, and a Splendide washer/dryer combo

The aft stateroom features the office/den arrangement with a side queen and large desk with transom ports.

This DD-382 includes many standard features that are optional on other yachts, (see below). She's been configured as a fully rigged motorsailer (sail-assisted troller), including easy-to-launch and recover paravanes for excellent stabilization at sea.

This vessel was built and commissioned with significant input from her owner’s input gained from owning 14 boats over 40 feet, in which he has logged over 200,000 miles of offshore cruising.
